This piece of art is my (broad) interpretation of Ezekiel chapter 1. The text talks about Ezekiels vision of 4 winged creatures that rode in wheeled objects. The wheeled objects had eyes all around the rims. It says that!! I promise!! Check it out for yourself!

At any rate this is what I imagined it might have looked like had Ezekiel seen this through a window. My interpretation is a much tamer vision than the actual vision. Had I seen the same thing Ezekiel saw, I wouldn't have been able to describe it in such detail--'cause I would have fainted dead away in a

Heheh! I love the Googley eyes!!!
Joyce, I have been struggling (and I mean STRUGGLING) with reading Ezekiel for many months now. Dare I say almost a year? I am so not motivated, even though I know I'm "supposed" to read it. Because I got the spur in my side... you know the One. And it seems so repetetive and ... you know... not-pertaining-to-me-so-I-don't-really-care-about-it.
I can't believe I just said that, but upon further reflection, it's true. That's why I'm having such a hard time reading it.
Anyway, you've shown me a way to be a little lighter about it. I love the wings and the googley eyes!
**hugs**
